Margarida Morgado holds a PhD in English Literature and is Coordinating Professor of English Cultural Studies and coordinator of English Studies for several faculties at Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute, Portugal. She has been involved for many years in teacher education for primary schools and is currently engaged in teaching courses in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and on intercultural communication and mediation. She has wide expertise in international applied research European projects, funded under Erasmus+, on teaching languages in Higher Education, CLIL, promoting the intercultural dimension in education, and promoting transversal skills education or educating language teachers.
