Lisa Domke is an assistant professor in the College of Education and Human Development at Georgia State University (Atlanta, Georgia, United States). She was an elementary/primary bilingual teacher. She works in and investigates bilingual teacher development and children’s biliteracy.

Dr. Pilar Moreno-Recio is the Director of Bilingual/ESL/Migrant Education in the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District in Baytown, in the greater Houston area, Texas. She is the Bilingual/ESL Directors’ Representative for the Texas Association for Bilingual Education (TABE), and Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston where she teaches Bilingual and ESL education methodology courses. Prior to these roles, Dr. Moreno worked as an ESL teacher in Spain, as an SSL teacher in Northern Ireland, and as an elementary bilingual teacher in the United States.

Licenciada en Lenguas y Literaturas Extranjeras y en Filología Hispánica; Máster en Lingüística Aplicada, en Traducción Audiovisual, en Profesorado de ESO, Bach, FP y EOI y en Didáctica de la Lengua y de la Literatura Italiana. Actualmente es doctoranda de la UCLM y miembro del grupo de investigación CACLE (Comunicación, Aprendizaje y Competencia en Lengua Extranjera).

Master Degree in Research in psychology, educational psychologist and language teacher, working for the last 14 years at Junta de Castilla Y León, as an English language teacher in a multicultural main stream school in Valladolid. She is also the Co-founder of Smart bees, English club, an English language learning centre.
